Since it's birth in March 2007, Operation Paintball Island has been one of the most talked about and anticipated paintball tournaments in history. That is trully exciting, but the magnitude and complexity of this amazing tournament has forced the OPI administration to closely look at the tournament structure and other dymanics of the tournament to ensure that it is safe, fair and available to the international paintball community equally. This has led to an unforseen, extended delay in the tournament.

As of February 1, 2008, registration has been suspended until further notice while continued planning is in process. Please be assured that the OPI administration continues to develop the tournament so that it can be the best paintball tournament in history, the ultimate paintball tournament, and we look forward to future announcements about the status of the tournament.

OPI continues to accept requests for field hosts throughout the world. Sponsorship, Partnership and Investor proposals are also being accepted and are welcomed.

All registration dues paid to OPI in 2007 will be fully refunded in the form of a certified check. Funds will be mailed via certified mail by April 1. 2008. All registrations on file will be maintained in our database.
